Mr. Brian K. Cline, owner and managing attorney for Cline, APC., has been practicing law in the state of California since December of 2006. His practice has covered a diverse range of cases, including the representation of California consumers under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, also known as California’s lemon law.
Mr. Cline has also served as an attorney in cases of personal injury law, employment injustices, insurance bad faith, civil rights violations, and breaches of contract.
In addition to representing plaintiffs, Mr. Cline had the unique experience of defending the San Diego Police Department and its respected officers in a high-profile, excessive use of force case with the San Diego City Attorney’s Office – Civil Division.
Mr. Cline has spent a majority of his career protecting consumers under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act or “lemon law.” He has litigated lemon law cases against all major manufacturers throughout the state of California, including but not limited to BMW, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, and Forest River Motor Homes.
As a native of California, he received his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of California at San Diego. Mr. Cline then earned his Juris Doctor from the Columbus School of Law, Catholic University of America in Washington D.C.
He has called San Diego his home since 1996, and he is a member of the State Bar of California and the La Jolla Bar Association.
